Ironwood Campus Managers lead from within, and function as an integral member of the Ironwood team.
This position requires strong communication skills, thoughtful organization, the ability to multitask, and most importantly someone who is able to form healthy connections with adolescents and adults alike.
In addition to collaborative leadership skills and exemplary professional ethics, the Residential Campus Manager should demonstrate proficient skills as a Behavioral Health Professional and have experience with trauma informed care, collaborative problem solving, and a variety of interventions to support stabilization, skill development and safety, which is needed for the high level of care our residents require.
This position requires someone who has the skills and knowledge to manage crisis situations that arise with residents.
Core responsibilities include:
supporting and supervising a team of behavioral health staff, providing relief and support during interventions as needed, serve as a role model by building rapport with residents within appropriate professional boundaries; creating opportunities for residents to rediscover values and develop skills to cope with challenges; helping students develop a relationship with the natural world and learn how to get along with others in healthy and cooperative ways; evaluating the results of a residents choices; and encouraging residents to develop improved strategies and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will not only have skills and experience to offer, but must bring a learner mindset and desire to work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Required/Preferred
Qualifications:
Relevant work experience in a residential setting required Bachelor Degree in related field, preferred (Master's Degree a plus) 1-2 years' experience working directly with youth required Experience with behavior and group management required ORGANIZATION
